i enjoy the story Anne of green gables vary much. its a childhood favorite of mine. I love Anne because she has an amazing imagination. she dreams big and sees the world throw rainbow-colored glasses. she looks at the world with wonder and love. I wish I has an imagination like that. she is thankful for the gifts she is given and has a soft heart. her love for nature and the little animals is touching. I would like to be more like her.

I have always dreamed of going to Paris France (Europe). it just seems like a magical place to me. I would go shopping, eat the food, meet new people, everything!! but now I think about it differently. now that I am older and I have learned more about the gospel, I for sure would want to go to
Israel. can you imagine walking where Jesus has walked!? It seems awesome! I would go to Jerusalem, so many historical things happened there the last supper, crucifixion, baptism of Jesus, and more. AMAZING! I think that Katie is insanely brave. I admire her because of how much she relies on god. how she bases her whole life on him, even in the struggles she still believes in him. she does not think that all the work she is doing is just her. she knows that God is the one working through her. I want to be like Katie. she is a major inspiration. reading about her has been very fun. she inspires me to trust God more and more.
I believe the purpose of the government destroying the books is because it would help them hold power. If the government can destroy their root of knowlege then they can create a new way of thinking and understanding things the way they want people to. they can be held higher in society.
![]() a point of reference is something that you can always trust and believe in to look at and trust that it will always be there. something that can also lead the way for you. The Point of reference within the Northern Hemisphere is the Big Dipper. the story of science talks about having it lead the way which is their point of reference. I believe that my point of reference is my parents and God. my parents are such a good example. they teach me all sorts of things that will benefit me forever, they show me great acts of love and kindness that will linger with me for the rest of my life. and God he will always be there for me and always knows best. he has loved us even though we are unloveable. and I can believe that he will always be consistent and I trust him, something I can always be sure of and something I can always trust and look to. ![]() the claw of Archimedes was an ancient weapon devised by Archimedes to defend the seaward portion of Syracuse's city wall against amphibious assault. i feel that was just a weapon and is not as scary as a killing sea monster. i myself would fear the sea monster! not knowing if you can go and bath! not knowing if it will be safe that day to go and get water?! no way man! ![]() "Man is by nature a pragmatic materialist, a mechanic, a lover of gadgets and gadgetry" - Elizabeth Gould Davis I did some research on Elizabeth Gould Davis and I do not agree with what she has to say. if you take the time to read a few articles, you might think the same. I do however think that what henry David Thoreau is saying is quite accurate! “Our inventions are wont to be pretty toys, which distract our attention from serious things. They are but improved means to an unimproved end" i believe what he is saying is that we are not perfect, but God is. we are made in his image. God is THE creator and if we were made to be like him, why would we not creat things?! god makes things to point the glory to himself, and we often try to do the same, we do not really deserve glory though! all glory should go to God! and if you take a look at our fabulous world you will see that God is an amazing creator! and that though it is lovely it is broken! we can not fix that but we can try to be like Jesus, we can create and help and love! I got bored so I thought I would just do some research on the ocean. a few min blowing facts:
2. The Pacific is wider than the moon. At its widest point, from Indonesia to Colombia, the Pacific Ocean is wider than the moon, by quite a lot. This expanse of ocean is 12,300 miles across, which is more than five times the diameter of the moon! crazy right?! 3. There’s enough gold in the ocean for us each to have 9 pounds of it! There’s around 20 million tons of gold dispersed throughout the oceans. It is, however, diluted pretty much to a pulp—its concentration is only a few parts per trillion, according to the National Ocean Service. The ocean floor also has undissolved gold embedded in it, but it’s not cost-effective to mine it. However, if the ocean’s gold were equally distributed among every person on earth, we’d each receive nine pounds of gold. 4. Coral produces its sunscreen. Too much sunlight can damage the algae that live inside coral in shallow water. To protect the algae, which are a main source of sustenance for the coral, the corals fluoresce. This creates proteins that act as a sort of sunscreen. 5. The ocean has more artifacts than all the world’s museums combined. Thanks to these millions of shipwrecks, the ocean houses countless treasures and artifacts. National Geographic estimates that there are more treasures on the bottom of the ocean than in all the world’s museums combined. +a fact I couldn't even fathom. extra fact: An estimated 50-80% of all life on earth is found under the ocean surface and the oceans contain 99% of the living space on the planet. |
