I think Anne is one of the most beloved characters because she is fun to read about! Her personality is just so funny! She will just say things so bluntly and her imagination will just run away from her. I think her imagination is one of her strengths. She has so much fun in life! Certainly it gets away with her and goes to far, but I think it is so funny when she is using her imagination! I think one of her flaws is that she doesn't think very much of herself. She thinks that she is ugly and she makes to much mistakes. But we all make mistakes! And she has red hair! Red is is so pretty! I love red hair! I think her biggest flaw is doubting herself. She doesn't think she is to smart but she is always top of her class! I think a lot of the time we doubt ourselves and think we are to flawed but actually we have a lot inside of us!

EUROPE!! It has always been my dream to go there! I would definitely go there! I would love to see all the history that is there! I absolutely love history and so I have always wanted to go the Europe! These are the main things I would see if I went to Europe: Paris, France OF COURSE! Athens, Greece St Petersburg, Russia Rome, Italy and because of the 4th Harry potter, Bulgaria. Those are some places I would want to go to. There are some things I would love to do too! I would love to go skiing in Switzerland! That would be awesome! I think it would be SO FUN to build my own city! I would have unlimited money to build it of course ;) I would have a HUGE library! It would have all the books you could think of! I would also have a park with a zip line, a swimming pool, a zoo, an obstacle course for people and dogs, and a bike trail. I would make sure there were lots of fun things to do that weren't too expensive. I would make sure that there were fun community games and programs that people could do. It wouldn't be a big city. Enough room that everyone that lived there could have the animals they wanted. I would DEFINITELY have a temple! It would be in the very center of the city to show that Christ is our focus. Those are the main things I would have in my city! When I looked up incas doing brain surgery this is what I found: "Inca surgeons in ancient Peru commonly and successfully removed small portions of patients' skulls to treat head injuries, according to a new study. The surgical procedure—known as trepanation—was most often performed on adult men, likely to treat injuries suffered during combat, researchers say." CRAZY! I think that is so cool! I think that just shows that everyone has the capability to do amazing things. It isn't limited to where you live or when you live. I mean, it certainty it helps when you have the technology of today, but our minds are SO POWERFUL! We have so much potential! The picture that I put is a picture of a skull that had trepanation done to it. People actually survived!
I really admire her willingness to follow god and do what he asks of her. I love that she isn't trying to change the world or save everyone. She knows that is Jesus's job. She is just doing what she feel is what god needs her to do. I think my favorite part is when she adopts her girls and how open they are to adding to there family. I LOVE the part when she says, "How could I say argue with a little girl who knew what it was not to have a loving home and who wanted to share hers with others in need?" To me, that just shows shows selfless love both from Katie and from her girls.
I think we can learn about being loyal to your friends, even when they are stupid and make bad decisions sometimes. Badger, Ratty, and Mole all were still loyal to Toad even after he had been in jail! To me that shows real loyalty and love. If someone showed that love and devotion to me after I had done something as stupid as steal a car, it could change my life! I think truly loving someone for who they are is a big message in this book!
One invention that I love that is science/engineering, is indoor plumbing! It is SO nice to have! Another that I think is really awesome is just people figuring out numbers! I think those people are so smart! Even just the math patterns that we think as simple. They had to figure those out! They didn’t know them! That is some dedication right there! Think about how much that affects us today!
![]() I think the reason that new governments destroy the books is because uneducated people will believe what they are told. They don't know enough to make their own opinion so they just go off the opinion of someone else. If they can get people to believe in them then they have power. I think that when they destroyed the books, SO much knowledge was destroyed so that much more knowledge wasn't known anymore. They gained more power when other people knew less. |
