Odysseus was strong and clever. So he had an idea to build a big wooden horse and leave it outside the gates of troy, and hopefully the trojans would think it was a gift for the goddess Athena. So when the trojans found it outside the gates of troy they did think it was a gift and brought it inside the gates. But little did they know that there were soldiers inside the trojan horse. So that night the soldiers exited the horse and won the trojans in the war.
That gives you a clue of how clever Odysseus was. I don't think that was cheating because the trojans could have thought same thing of that and done it to them. Just because they were smart doesn't mean that they were cheating or had an unfair advantage.

I like the way you see things! Recognizing that using your intelligence to your advantage isn't cheating shows insight and understanding on your part.
