"On page 181, it talks about a point of reference we have in the Northern Hemisphere. What is it? Why is it useful? Do you have a point of reference in your life? What is it?" The point of reference on page 181 is the Big Dipper, and it helped all kinds of ancient people navigate (even the modern ones too!). It helped them find Polaris, which is like one of the only stars to really stay in place 24/7.
Do I have a reference point in my life? I think the church is one of my reference points, but I think my friend and family are as well. They're always there for me and I want to always be there for them.

You are right. The point of reference talked about was the Big Dipper! Yes, friends and family have also been a big reference point in my life. I have had to choose wisely. Here's a talk about the church and the gospel. I really love it. When I was young, the church was my point of reference, but I didn't realize that the church was just a vehicle to my conversion to Jesus Christ's gospel. I LOVE this talk by Donald Hallstrom
