![]() Well, you said tell a story, so here goes...... Once upon a time, there was a planet called earth. This planet was beautiful beyond description, covered in all the colors ever imagined. The people that lived on this planet were the most carefree, most easy-going that ever existed. The only thing that could even be considered a flaw, was that this planet had no gravity, which did make it hard to do things, such as walk to your friends house, or even retrieve the mail from the mail box. Not to mention that it was rather hard to avoid the trees, houses, animals, and even other people. ![]() But the people of this planet didn't really care much about this flaw. In fact, these people didn't care much about anything. Actually, they were quite oblivious to anything going on in the world around them. They had carefree lives, much as the world around them was carefree, not even thinking enough to make gravity for it's poor inhabitants. These people laughed, but it was for nothing. They smiled, but only because they didn't think to frown. And, of course, this was because they had no gravity of thought or mind, as well as no physical gravity. They cared nothing for life, education, or even themselves. A thought would leave their heads as soon as it entered, because there wasn't enough gravity for it to stay. Of course, they had natural survival instincts, so they would eat their meals of airy bread and bubbly water, sleep their dreamless, comfortless sleeps, and then wake up to their disturbingly useless lives. Then one day, Aliens that had been watching this world took pity on these poor excuses for intelligences, and decided to give them gravity. Then with one zap of their instant-gravity gun, they gave the earth people, in a sense, lives.
At first, this was a very hard change for the people on earth, but they got used to it, and were infinitely grateful to the aliens for saving them. THE END
